FESTA 2012
The Festival of Transitional Architecture (FESTA) celebrates and explores temporary architecture and DIY urbanism in Christchurch.
FESTA made its debut over the week of 20 - 28 October 2012, with large and small transitional projects providing a way for the public to creatively and immediately reoccupy and regenerate the central city.
The main event of 2012 was LUXCITY, "a city of lights" that existed for one night on Saturday 20th October, while numerous other events encouraged the public to discover more about transitional buildings and urban projects in the central city.
