The project description reads, "The Trust's vision for SCAPE is for Christchurch people to be excited, engaged and stimulated by contemporary public art that is well regarded and known by the national and international art world. Held in Christchurch's central city public spaces and supported though a range of partnerships, SCAPE has established a reputation for showcasing leading international contemporary artists and providing a springboard for new local talent".
