UC Lifelines Week 2013: Learning from Lifeline Week and Planning Collaborations

"Learning from Lifeline Week and Planning Collaborations" was a forum held as part of the 2013 Lifelines Week. It was held on 6 December 2013 in the NZi3 Building at the University of Canterbury. The objectives for the workshops were: to gain insight into TCLEE post-earthquake recovery reconnaissance and on the learning and outcomes following the 2013 UC Lifelines Week special-topic workshops; to hear from national and international researchers on relevant research projects targeting lifeline infrastructure resilience enhancement; to hear from utility managers and stakeholders about resilience strategies implemented in the Greater Christchurch to recovery/reconstruct lifelines infrastructures following the Canterbury earthquakes; and to build collaboration and synergies both nationally and internationally toward the resilience enhancement of lifeline infrastructure.
