: The Ozone RIP; The former Ozone Dressing Sheds in North New Brighton, with broken and boarded-up windows. The photographer comments, "This is the Ozone as it was before it was demolished. It appeared to have been in the process of being redecorated internally, but the February Christchurch earthquake seems to have caused its demise".

: TJs Kazbah, 1 Bowhill Road, New Brighton Before the Christchurch Earthquake; A photograph of TJ's Kasbah in North New Brighton, taken before the February 2011 earthquake. The photographer comments, "Here is what 1 Bowhill Road looked like before the Christchurch earthquake. It was called the Ozone store, which originally was incorporated in the blue Ozone building on the other side of the road".

: Cars Parked Near TJ's Kazbah During the Christchurch Earthquake; Damage to TJ's Kazbah in New Brighton. The tower and east end of the building have collapsed onto two parked cars. The photographer comments, "The occupants of the business and rooms all managed to escape alive. A digger was used to make the building safe and then used to sift through the rubble for any surviving belongings. It was a very emotional time for the ex-occupants. The damaged cars were removed before the digger demolished the building".

The east and north walls and part of the upper floor have collapsed, tipping rubble and the contents of the rooms out onto the street. The photographer comments, "The occupants of the business and rooms all managed to escape alive. : Matching Walls and Garden; Liquefaction silt and sand cover the lawn of a residential property. The photographer comments, "This is a garden inundated with liquefaction. Though most liquefaction is grey in Christchurch there must have been golden sandy beaches before the volcanoes erupted millions of years ago".

: After the Earthquake Comes Liquefaction; Liquefaction silt. The photographer comments, "After the earthquake in Christchurch New Zealand, liquefaction covered the streets, but after it had risen from below ground whilst the ground was shaking it the liquid in the liquefaction wanted to drain away".

: The Gouge; Road damage and liquefaction in a residential street. The photographer comments, "A great gouge in the road caused by liquefaction undermining the road surface and a car driving over it. This was the earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand on 22 February 2011".

: The Old Princess Cinema; The brick facade has fallen from the former Princess Cinema in New Brighton, exposing the rooms inside, and crushing a car parked below. The photographer comments, "The front of the old Princess Cinema in New Brighton after the earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand on 22 February. Under the pile of bricks is a luckily unoccupied blue car. The word CLEAR on the broken facade is to show that there is no one in the car. This building has now been knocked down as it was so dangerous".
