The supermarket has a secret stash of marmite which they have made available to customers in exchange for a bank note. The bank notes will be donated to the Christchurch Women's Refuge. Marmite went missing from supermarket shelves across the country after the 22 February 2011 earthquake damaged the factory in Christchurch.
