Settling insurance claims was challenging for many property owners. This case study focuses on the Residential Advisory Service, a free, impartial, client-centred advice service to help property owners understand and progress the repair and rebuild of their homes. This unique collaboration between government and the insurance sector generated many useful lessons for recovery practitioners.
